On Set VFX Supervisor

Experienced On set VFX Supervisor. Feature film, Episodic and commercials.

Work as main supervisor, associate supervisor or 2nd unit supervisor.

Be the interface of the VFX vendor and interact with the production crew/agency/studio.

Good knowledge of photography for reference photographs, photogrammetry and texture shooting of sets, props and actors.

Experience with set surveys & set up of tracking markers.

Operation and setup of witness cameras.

Cover shoots with or without VFX Wrangler, or work with other VFX Supervisors, to track and record data and be a point of contact for VFX onset.

Take detailed camera notes and work with the camera department, DIT as well as the script supervisor to ensure accurate logging of camera data (focal length, lens height, tilt, etc).

Capture spherical HDRI’s for CG lighting. Texture Panos and bubbles.

Film grey/mirrored balls/colour charts for lighting reference.

Survey/measure major props and sets that require VFX.

I have experience working with Clear Angle and ILM - for prop and cast scanning as well as set lidar and texture scanning. 

I have supervised facial performance capture using Dorothy(CA) and Medusa, Anyma and FLUX (ILM).
